Wedding Central was created in 2005 and was originally established as a home based business selling wedding supplies on ebay. My husband and I were married that year and decided there needed to be one store where you could find everything for a wedding or special event. After operating for several months and inventory starting to fill not only our spare bedroom, but several other rooms, we decided a larger location would be a great idea, so we decided to expand and joined the ranks of the local event planning companies.
Wedding Central was then moved into a small space in the Jefferson Flea Market selling wedding supplies, gowns, and accessories. A couple months later we took out a wall and expanded that location. Approximately nine months later, again decided we needed to expand. Wedding Central then moved to our 12480C Warwick Blvd. in Newport News. In September of 2009, Wedding Central changed its' name to Event Central LLC simply because we did then and do now...more than just weddings. Now once again, we have moved to a larger location at 9912 Hosier Street, Newport News, VA. From 1400 square feet to 20,000 square feet. Quite a leap.
Our new location is an event facility, which includes an event hall, garden chapel, rental display showroom, AND many other companies providing event related products and services. Our goal is to make Event Central LLC the ultimate in one-stop shopping for any event. Our dream for Event Central just keeps getting bigger and better. We would like to thank all of our clients to date for their business and trusting the former Wedding Central and the now Event Central LLC with their event. Without our clients we could not grow and be successful in making clients dreams come true through decorating and our event hall.
